#SaveTheSaola - The Saola Working Group

Picture
The Saola Working Group (SWG) works collaboratively to conserve saola in nature, and to leverage saola as a flagship for conservation of the bio-cultural diversity of the Annamite Mountains as a whole.

The SWG is one of the most active Species Groups of the Asian Wild Cattle Specialist Group. The SWG was formed in 2006 in recognition of the need for urgent, coordinated action to save the saola from extinction. The group works as a collaborative partnership with expert members from the range countries of Vietnam and Lao and international members.

Please visit the SWG website or Facebook page to learn more about their amazing work.

You can read the SWG 2019 Annual Report here, and the SWG Strategy 2020 here.
